sneak3-Let me clarify a couple things:
First: The iAtkos disk is made for hackintoshes. It is a hacked image of the apple system that allows it to be installed on a compatible pc. It is not a good idea to load a hacked image into a mac that if built by apple. There is no reason to do so because who knows what may happen. If you are installing on an apple machine, just stick with the official untouched OS. You can always update it within the system.
Second: The image I have uploaded '.cdr' and the one provided by apple '.dmg' are identical! They are just in different image formats, but the content in each is completely identical. Using disk utility in mac you can easily convert between the two. But you do not need to because you can put either of these onto a usb drive through disk utility with no problems. Even though the guides ask for 'InstallEDS.DMG', you can use 'InstallEDS.CDR' and still get the same exact result! I hope that answers your question.
If you have anymore questions feel free to ask. Good luck installing this system!
